On Nov. 1, local insurance and eldercare expert, Beth Kamer, will present "Medicare 101- The Basics" at the November edition of the Stow-Glen Lunch & Learn series.

This free educational presentation about Medicare will cover each "part" that makes up Medicare as well as those products that work with original Medicare. Learn what the "donut hole" is and how it is calculated. Attendees are encouraged to bring specific questions and challenges they've faced so the speaker can help.

Kamer has a bachelor's and master's degree in social work from Ohio State University. She has 23 years of experience in hospitals, home care, nursing homes, senior center and Elder Law. Also, she has been an independent Insurance Agent for three years, working with Medicare products only. She enjoys working with seniors and families to educate them on Medicare options.

The lunch session is in the Cedar Hall building on the campus of Stow-Glen Retirement Village at 4285 Kent Road, Stow. Doors open at 11:30 a.m. for registration and seating;speaker and food service begin at noon.
