On Nov. 12, the Stow Hudson Council of the Knight of Columbus will be conducting its annual USO collection in the back of Stow City Hall for U.S. military men and women.

The Knights will be accepting donations of various items from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. As you drive by, volunteers will assist in unloading so there should not be any delay caused to a normal Saturday routine.

The collection will be delivered to the USO of Ohio located in Chagrin Falls to assist military personnel in route, deployed or returning. The USO provides an excellent interface to oved ones.

The following items are a suggested list what are needed:

Shaving-cream; mouthwash; white socks; tuna fish; Spam; beef jerky: fruit cups: toilet paper; pudding cups; international phone cards; individual servings of coffee, hot chocolate, tea bags; individual servings of cereal; canned veggies; eye drops; cough drops; flavored individual servings of bottled water; hand sanitizer, etc. Cash and checks made out to the "Knights of Columbus" or "USO" will also be accepted.°

The items will be donated Nov. 13 directly to the USO so they can be distributed in time for the holiday season.
