Hudson - After several successful years, and several years of a hiatus, Holiday House 2016 is back.

Case Barlow Farm and Hudson Heritage Association have joined forces to host the 2016 Holiday House Nov. 19, 25 and 26 at Case Barlow Farm.

A new twist to the event will include not only a house tour, but Holiday shopping and displays provided by many local businesses. Most items will be "pay and carry."

The preview party, "Moonlight & Mistletoe," will take place at the farm on Nov. 19 from 5 to 7 p.m. This event will be catered by Hudson native and chef Larkin Rogers. There is also a signature cocktail provided by Angela Strach-Gotthardt of The Secret Tea Society. The night will feature food, beer, wine and holiday shopping. Tickets for the preview party will remain valid for both days of the General Tour. Valet parking will be provided.

The General Tour will take place Nov. 25 and 26 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days.

Case Barlow Farm, Inc. is an independent non-profit corporation formed to restore the Case Barlow homestead. The farmhouse was built in the late 1820s by Chauncey and Cleopatra Case. Aside from farming, the site was used for abolitionist meetings and was a stop on the Underground Railroad.

Hudson Heritage Association was founded in 1962 to preserve the Western Reserve°Community of Hudson and its historic character. This event blends two organizations devoted to the preservation of Hudson's fine history. All proceeds will go to both organizations for their continued restoration and preservation efforts.

Vendors included in this event will be Borrow Rentals, Hudson Fine Art & Framing, Laura Yeager Smith Home & Design, Molly Taylor & Company, The Red Twig Floral Design & Studio, Suncrest Gardens, Yellow Basket Antiques and Yellow Creek Trading Company. Hudson Garden Club will be decorating the lovely back porch of the farmhouse which will be the entrance during the Tour days.

In addition, the Hudson Questers will be decorating the upstairs of the farmhouse with a nod to historic nostalgia.
