Craft Beer Lovers from all over the area will enjoy all the best Craft Beers that four breweries can serve for The Stow-Munroe Falls Community Foundation's 4th Annual Craft Beer Fest on Oct. 7 in the Heritage Barn on the grounds of Silver Springs Park in Stow. This fundraiser has grown from one brewery in 2012 to four breweries represented in this year's event.
Craft beer fans can enjoy Oktoberfest beers, Pilsners, IPA's, Stout's, Red Ales, Shandy's of the Season, flavorful beers with hints of grapefruit, blueberry and, of course, the seasonal favorite - Pumpkin Ales.
Also featured are locally brewed beer that's brewed fresh, clean, crisp ands malty from Stow Kent's own Mad Cap Brew Company, soon to announce the opening of its new expanded tasting room near Mogadore Road and Cherry Ave on the west side of Kent. Sampling latest brews as well at the event will be Rhinegeist Brewing from Cincinnati, Anderson Valley Brewing Company, California, and just added Ohio Brewing Company, Akron.
The event will be from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Heritage Barn on the grounds of Silver Springs Park at 5238 Young Road in Stow. Cost is $40 per person, $75 per couple and includes an all-you-can-eat Oktoberfest Buffet featuring German favorites such as bratwurst and sauerkraut, German potato salad, pretzels and desserts. Attendees must be 21 and over.
Proceeds from this event will go to the general fund of the Stow-Munroe Falls Community Foundation to benefit local Stow-Munroe Falls student programming, local flood victims among other local causes.
