Cuyahoga Falls -- Members of the Woodridge Local Schools Board of Education voted unanimously Sept. 20 to give the district's treasurer a raise equal to that agreed upon in the board's agreement with the teachers' union.

On Aug. 16, the School Board unanimously approved a new two-year contract for members of the Woodridge Education Association, giving them a 1 percent compensation increase in their base pay in the first 92 days of the 2016-17 school year, another 1 percent raise for the last 93 days of the 2016-17 school year and a 2 percent increase in the 2017-18 school year.

Deanna Levenger, Woodridge's treasurer, will see her current salary of $79,415 per year increase to $80,610 on her next paycheck.
