Freedom Greyhound Rescue and Aurora Parks and Recreation Department are presenting Bark Boo-Nanza and with Aurora’s Fall Family Fun Fest on Oct. 8 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Sunny Lake Park, 885 Mennonite Road in Aurora.
There is free admission to the event, which will include rescue groups and vendors, raffles, inflatables, hayrides, crafts, concessions and more. Fees are required for some activities.
Visitors can take their dogs trick-or-treating on a 1.75-mile walk. Registration is 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The walk begins after the dog costume contest at 12:20 p.m.
