The Aurora One Fund is nearing the one-third point in its 2016 campaign, according to Executive Director Joe Kotlin.
As of Sept. 17, the fund had reached 31.7 percent of its $66,000 goal. As of that date, 164 pledge cards were returned out of 9,150 mailed. The business drive accounted for $350 and the residential drive for $20,580 for a total of $20,930.
The One Fund serves the community, and is managed by a group of public-spirited citizens who are all volunteers. There are no paid executives. The fund has less than a 4 percent administration cost that covers filing fees, postage and printing costs.
Any questions about the fund can be director to President Ann Morrison at 330-562-5397 or Kotlin at 330-562-7233.
