Ashley Beltrano has been promoted to the position of Manager - Cake Sales and Production at Acme Fresh Market. Beltrano, of Munroe Falls, is responsible for exceeding customers' expectations when they purchase a handmade and gourmet decorated cake from Acme Fresh Market. Beltrano will provide leadership on functions related to the production, quality, and decoration of all cakes including ready to celebrate cakes, wedding cakes and special event cakes. Beltrano will report to Merandia Keller, Category Manager -- Bakery, and lead Acme Fresh Market's current cake production team and expert cake decorators.

Beltrano has been employed by Acme Fresh Market for nine years. Immediately prior to accepting this position, Beltrano's role with Acme Fresh Market was to work directly with brides to help them design their dream wedding cakes. She has personally decorated hundreds of wedding cakes, and prides herself on delighting customers. Prior to focusing on wedding cakes, Beltrano assisted customers with their cake selection and decorating in many Acme Fresh Market bakeries.

The Twinsburg Environmental Commission will conduct a free document shredding and recycling event Sept. 24 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Public Works Department, 10231 Ravenna Road. This event is open to city of Twinsburg and Twinsburg Township residents. The limit is 10 boxes or shopping bags. All shredded paper will be recycled. In addition, the commission and department will conduct a household hazardous waste collection that same day, Sept. 24, also from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Public Works Department. This event is open to Twinsburg city residents only. Proof of residency (driver's license or sewer bill, etc.) will be required. No latex paint will be accepted.
