Special to the Stow Sentry

Stow-Munroe Falls High School DECA (An Association of Marketing Students) hosted its annual Mali Ball Tournament on Dec. 18, at the high school gymnasium. Teams of five competed against each other in brackets until eventually one team became the winner of the tournament. The students raised $400 that will be applied to building the "Stow School" in Mali, Africa. "We have been raising money for four years now and as of today have donated $10,000 toward the $14,000 goal," said Leah Wooten, president of Senior DECA. More information regarding building the "Stow School" in Mali, Africa, can be found by visiting the website Africansky.org. Donations are always welcome and tax-deductible.
