The Stow-Munroe Falls High School Band will be presenting their annual Winter Band concert on Tuesday evening, December 15th at 7pm in the High School Auditorium.  The concert features the talents of over 240 students performing in one of four high school concert band.  The Freshmen band will be performing Into the Storm by Robert W. Smith, and two holiday arrangements:  Still, Still, Still and the Holly and the Ivy.    The Maroon Symphonic Band will be performing Symphonic Festival by Robert W. Smith, At Morning First Light by David Gillingham and How the Grinch Stole Christmas.  The Gold Symphonic Band will be performing the march Excelsior by Ohio march composer Karl L. King and arranged by area arranger/composer Gene Milford, and two Holiday arrangements: All About Christmas and And All the Bells on Earth Shall Ring.  The Wind Ensemble will be performing Frank Tichelli's beautfiul Earth Songs,  music form the movie Home Alone, and Avalanche in the Bleak Mid Winter by SMFHS band director Brian Monroe.  The bands are lead by Greg Newman, Sandra Sandman, Brian Monroe and student teacher Chloe Verba.  The concert is free.
