A Veterans Day ceremony honoring all who served was conducted Wednesday morning at the city's Veterans Memorial, Broad Boulevard and Front Street. Paul Luff, a Vietnam veteran who served in the U.S. Army, served as master of ceremonies. Bernard Gobrogge, a retired Sergeant First Class from the U.S. Army, delivered the keynote address. Members of the Men's Auxiliary of VFW Post No. 1062 raised the American flag. Kathy Kalbach of the Ladies Auxiliary of VFW Post No. 1062 placed the wreath. Members of the VFW Post No. 1062 Honor Guard performed the gun salute. Michael McClain of American Legion Post 281, also a Vietnam veteran, played Taps.
