Park planners are seeking input about possible improvements in Summit County’s busiest park: Sand Run Metro Park in Akron.

More than 60 residents attended a June 3 public meeting to learn about the potential of extending the park’s 6-mile Jogging Trail and adding fitness stations, a playground, bike lanes and other amenities. Now an online survey seeks to collect more feedback about the future of the nearly 1,000-acre natural-area park, which saw more than 2 million visits in 2013.

The brief eight-question survey will collect responses through Friday, June 20 at 4:30 p.m. The survey is available here:
