The Hudson High School Business Club will be hosting the 4th Annual HHS Business Club Apprentice Challenge on First & Main on from 3:30 to 6 p.m. on May 9.

The Business Club has been hard at work preparing for this event, inspired by NBC's "The Apprentice." Six teams of students will be competing to win the attention of Hudson pedestrians in order to sell the most product.

"This event is great for students, giving them the opportunity to master business concepts, such as collaborating, marketing, and selling; community support will only enhance the experience," Navneet Kala, president of the club, said.

Not only will the profit help support the Business Club, 25 percent of the profit will be donated to the winning team's charity of choice. This year, the Business Club will be selling products from Open Road Snacks, a Colorado-based company, specializing in delicious snack foods without all the unhealthy chemicals.

The Club has been working closely with George Rork, senior director of Sales East for Open Road Snacks and resident of Hudson. The community and surrounding areas are invited to help support our club, a charity, and Open Road Snacks. In the case of inclement weather, the event will be rescheduled to another day in May.
