Cleveland - Goldfarb Weber Creative Media is the new name effective today for the former Glazen Creative Studios in Cleveland. Ownership of the region's preeminent video communications firm remains with partners CEO Tony Weber and President Ron Goldfarb.

"We started running the firm in 2002 and formally took complete ownership in early 2009," said Weber, a Hudson, Ohio resident. "It is time to put our name on the door." The firm's work has been part of corporate and non-profit campaigns that have raised nearly $1 billion over the past decade for key regional projects, he added.

Goldfarb noted the firm took the time this past fall to step back and look at the forthcoming name change from a business perspective, not as a creative exercise.

"We took the time to do this the right way. We spent a lot of time talking about our strengths and weaknesses, and what our business should be going forward." he said. "It is important Tony and I maintain the great relationships we have with our customers. We want to continue to produce work that helps our clients connect with their stakeholders, and support projects that make our region grow."

"We all agreed it was time to change the name of the company. Tony and Ron have done a great job building on the success we had while I was there," said former owner Alan Glazen, who ran the firm from 1972 to 2002. "They deserve the credit going forward. I wish them continued great success."

In addition to managing the firm, Weber is also president of the American Advertising Federation - Cleveland chapter, made up of nearly 100 firms and individuals in Northeast Ohio.
