Our Lady of Guadalupe served fish, chips and more at its fish fry on March 21. The fish fries are scheduled for Fridays through Lent at the church, 9080 Shepard Road in Macedonia. In addition to the fish fries, the parish is offering a light supper of soup and bread for all parishioners on Good Friday from 6 to 7:15 p.m. in the Castilian Rose Room. Fish Fry dinners are also being served on Fridays by the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6768 Ladies Auxiliary during Lent from 5 to 7 p.m. at the post, 8584 Olde Eight Road in Northfield Center. Call 330-467-9722 for takeout. The menu includes fish, French fries and coleslaw or shrimp, or shrimp and fish, French fries and coleslaw. Prices range from $6 to $9. All dinners come with roll and butter. Pop is available for $1. Coffee and tea are free and donated desserts area available to purchase. Profits from desserts go to cancer aid and research.

Boy Scout Troop 575 is serving fish dinners at St. Barnabas Parish, 9451 Brandywine Road in Northfield Center, on Fridays during Lent, including Good Friday, from 4:30 to 7 p.m. In addition to weekly specials, the Scouts are offering a lightly battered pub style fish with premium long cut French fries. There is also baked rotisserie style cod served with redskin garlic mashed potatoes, vegetables and a roll. Other options include fish, shrimp, crab cakes, pierogis, personal cheese pizzas, macaroni and cheese and desserts. Meals range in price from $6 to $9, or more for specials.  Senior discounts and take out orders are also available. Order ahead of time starting at noon each Friday at 440-525-3678.

Faith Fellowship Church of Macedonia, 10277 Valley View Road, is serving fish dinners March 28 and April 4 and 11 from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Dinner includes batter dipped fish, macaroni and cheese or French fries, coleslaw or applesauce, hush puppies, beverages and dessert. The cost for a two-piece dinner is $8.50. One-piece dinners are $6.50. A child’s meal with no fish is $4. Takeout is available.
