Akron, Ohio – Roderick Linton Belfance, LLP announced that the firm has relocated their offices to the newly renovated tenth floor of the Akron Centre  Plaza at 50 S. Main Street.

Founded in 1885, the firm has long been a part of the Akron community. When the opportunity to relocate was discussed, it was decided that instead of moving to a suburban office park like other firms in the area, that RLB would maintain its downtown presence.

“We made the decision several months ago to move since our lease was up and a very attractive offer was made to us,” said Roderick Linton Belfance Partner, Robert M. Gippin. “For over 125 years this firm has been a part of the Akron Community. It was important to us to remain downtown and continue to play our role in strengthening the
Akron economy.”

The firm will uphold its traditional approach to client service and excellence, as well as its commitment to downtown Akron. With the new location, the firm was able to bring their 44 employees together on one floor (the previous office was spread across two floors) and also enjoy a larger, more cohesive workspace. In addition, the new space boasts state-of-the-art technology such as high-quality video conferencing equipment along with brand new computer systems and cutting edge software.

Roderick Linton Belfance will occupy the entire tenth floor of the building, which will provide the firm with just over 14,300 square feet of space. As the office is located near the courts, it is in the long-term plans to possibly offer some of the facilities to out-oftown attorneys who might be in need of office or video conferencing equipment.

Currently, Roderick Linton Belfance, LLP is a full-service law firm with 25 attorneys, including nine partners, who handle a wide range of litigation, business and family matters for national, regional and local clients. For more information, please visit www.RLBLLP.com.
