At the Mechanical Service Contractor's of America annual educational conference, Richard "Dick" Starr of Hudson took the gavel as the 2014 Chairman. MSCA is the largest HVAC trade organization in the USA and Starr is the first person from Ohio to have ever held this position.

This year's conference was in Boca Raton, Fla., and was themed "Beyond Your Limits." The conference was highlighted by Captain Charlie Plumb, Vietnam War Vet and POW camp survivor who told his story of courage under extreme adversity. Plumb shared his lessons learned while being held captive for 5.5 years.

Starr and his wife, Patti, have been residents of Hudson since 1977. Starr is President/CEO of The Enterprise Corp., Twinsburg. The company was selected in 2011 as the USA's Commercial HVAC Contractor of the Year, by the largest trade publication in the USA.
