Business of the Month -- Tallmadge Historical Society
A bit of history -- Tallmadge was founded in 1807 by the Rev. David Bacon as part of the Connecticut Western Reserve. It was Bacon who laid out our picturesque Circle based on the New England design of the day. Today, the Circle is still the central focal point of our community of more than 18,000 people. We blend an early American heritage with a present day Midwestern hospitality! The Tallmadge Historical Society may be reached at P.O. Box 25, Tallmadge, OH 44278-0025 or call 330-630-9760.
Those who attend Chamber's monthly luncheons and "drop" their business card into the basket may be selected as Business of the Month. Winners will get their business name featured on the Chamber website and a short "blurb" in the Chamber Chatter column featured in the Tallmadge Express, along with a mention in Chamber's next newsletter. One business card a month will be drawn at the luncheon meetings.
The next trustee meeting is scheduled for July 10 at 11:45 a.m. in the Tallmadge Community Center Conference room, followed by the Festival Meeting at 1 p.m.

Seeking Volunteers for the Circle Festival
What better way to give back to the community than to volunteer. The festival is the perfect opportunity to do just that. We have several volunteers lined up, but we need more. If you would like to help with the festival, contact us at the Chamber's office or email us directly at email@example.com.
