The state of Ohio has released figures for proposed state funding of school districts in fiscal 2014, and Aurora is expected to receive an increase.

According to the figures, Aurora is expected to receive $3.38 million, a 15.64 increase ($457,311) over 2013.

The figures include $2.65 million in core opportunity aid, $545,949 for students with disabilities, $6,983 for English language learners, $29,105 for economically disadvantaged students and $145,025 for gifted and talented students.
