When the Falls woman continued to ask Ellerson to leave, he grabbed her by the neck and dragged her upstairs, the report said. The sister then called police, at which time Ellerson threatened their lives if they told the police where he was, according to the report .

The police report further stated that the sister "felt that she was restricted and being held against her will." Ellerson was "arrested on scene the night of the call by patrol officers," police said.

The case was bound over to a Summit County Grand Jury, which indicted Ellerson on charges of aggravated burglary, a first-degree felony; two counts of abduction, a third-degree felony; aggravated menacing, a first-degree misdemeanor; and two counts of domestic violence, one a first-degree misdemeanor and the other a fourth-degree misdemeanor. The indictment, which was filed Jan. 16, did not include the criminal trespassing, probation or drug charges.
