Students in second through eighth grade will perform "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs," based on the story by the Brothers Grimm, as their 2013 Winter Stage Production for Young Actors Studio.

This family musical contains 14 lively songs and features a wise cracking mirror who will only answer if addressed in rhyme. There is also a whole court of funny, bubbling characters that children will enjoy.

The story involves the lovely Snow White who flees the evil queen and finds refuge with seven little miners. However, the evil queen and her wicked sister pursue Snow White only to be led into the woods by Mirror. When her plan is thwarted, the queen is trapped in an ugliness spell and forced to remain that way because, as the entire court reminds her, "You're the mirror of every deed you do."

Show times are Feb. 14, 15 and 16 at 7 p.m., with an additional matinee at 2 Feb. 16.

Tickets are $8 each and can be obtained by contacting Young Actors Studio at 330-653-8525 or
