The Hudson Clocktower clock is down for repairs until Sunday and is expected to be silent for about 10 to 12 weeks as new parts are manufactured.

The city reported Friday that "the mechanisms that engage the chimes are worn, and most likely new parts will need to be made, as parts like this are no longer manufactured."

The city will have the clock operating again on Sunday, but the chimes will be silent until new parts arrive, the city reported.
