The Cuyahoga Falls Unit of Good Neighbors is gearing up to prove once again its motto "Christianity In Action" this holiday season.

Good Neighbors provides food and gifts for more than 800 families representing more than 2,000 people. They live in Cuyahoga Falls, Stow, Munroe Falls, Silver Lake, Hudson, and Peninsula.

The deadline has passed to drop off items for the Christmas Drive.

Cash donations can be mailed to Cuyahoga Falls Good Neighbors P.O. Box 233, Cuyahoga Falls, 44222.

During the Christmas Drive on Dec. 18 through 20 and until Jan. 3, Good Neighbors will not be able to process regular donations.

These are the days and times of the Christmas Drive when Good Neighbors needs volunteers at Faber Foundation:

SBlt Dec. 16, 12:30 to 4 p.m., food sorting and bagging;

SBlt Dec. 17, 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., food bagging and gift setup

SBlt Dec. 18, 8:30 a.m. to 2:45 p.m., helping clients

SBlt Dec. 19, 8:30 a.m. to 2:45 p.m., helping clients

SBlt Dec. 20, 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. helping clients and clean up

Adults, seniors and youth are welcome. Children in elementary school who are accompanied by parents can help sort food on Sunday. Adults and children 14 and up can sort and bag food as well as lend a hand with the many jobs available.

Volunteers are needed.
