The following items are reprinted from the News from Miller and Craddock Schools newsletter.Volunteers are needed for Craddock's holiday shop and the Aurora Reads program.Openings for the holiday shop are Nov. 30 for setup from 3 to 6 p.m., Dec. 3-4 in the morning and afternoon and Dec. 4 for teardown from 3 to 5 p.m.Anyone interested should call Tina Gerber at 330-995-4756 or Ronelle Hood at 330-562-4540.Meanwhile, those who wish to help a young child with reading should call Marie Radar at 330-562-1277 for Miller School or Kelly Smith at 330-954-1002 for Craddock School.The following students were observed making good choices at Miller School:Tatum Miller, William Carpenter, Emily Schimanski, Eliza Wykoff, Alyssa Viant, Lauren Lubin, Maya Dey, Drew Kimes, Charles Pilarszyk, Nathan Ring, Ethan Hays and Cassia Lavy.Thanks go to Tina Gerber and her Miller book fair crew for a great book fair, parents who participated in Craddock's recess rally and parent volunteers who helped with Craddock's scarecrows.There will be no school Nov. 5 and 6 for students in the Aurora district. Nov. 6 is election day, and since precincts are set up at some of the schools, students are given the day off.
