Kristin Marie Chapman of Aurora was awarded a bachelor of arts degree from Connecticut College at the 89th commencement ceremony on May 20. She was a psychology major and graduated with honors. Evanson has earned a dean's award to help pay for his education at Mount Union College in Alliance.He is the son of Jimmy N. and P. Flip Evanson of Aurora. He was a member of the varsity soccer and boys tennis teams, chess club, Destination ImagiNation, Emerald Ensemble and advanced choir. He was a Safety Town counselor and graduated with an honors diploma.The award is based on a review of academic credentials, including curriculum, grade-point average, ACT-SAT scores and class rank.
