You can place a reserve on library material over the Internet or from our library catalog computer terminals. Simply find the item in the catalog and then click on the word "request." Enter your complete barcode number and your PIN and then click on "submit."

Get a clue at Cuyahoga Falls Library

The adult summer reading program is in full swing. Choose any book or audio book and ask for entry blanks when you check out. Deposit your entries in the special box provided. Prizes include gift certificates to local restaurants and Borders Books, DVDs and movie passes. The grand prize will be an $80 gift certificate to Ticket Master. Winners will be announced weekly.

Mystery in Fiction

Kids 12 to 18 are invited to join in the fun of the young adult summer reading program, "Mystery in Fiction." There will be games, prizes and food.

Mystery spelling bee

Attention grown-ups: on June 26 at 7 p.m., you'll have a chance to show off your spelling expertise. All words will be "purloined" from mystery novels. A prize will be awarded to the top speller, so sign up and study up. Call 330-928-2117 for more information.

Bill Smith and the Music Men perform

Mark your calendars for June 28 at 7 p.m. to enjoy an evening of all-American swing music. Bill and the boys will get you "in the mood" with their get-up-and-dance tunes and their playful banter.

Get a clue at your library

The children's summer reading program is rolling right along. There will be lots of games, prizes, books and fun. Children of all ages may register in the children's department or online at www.CuyahogaFallsLibrary.org/children. Upon registration, each child will receive a reading record. For spending at least 15 minutes per day reading (or being read to), children will earn free coupons and other reading incentives while supplies last.

Clue into crafts

Get a clue! Come and glue! Kids in kindergarten and up are invited to make special "mystery" crafts on June 27, July 11, 18 and 25 at 11 a.m.

Super sleuth detective party

Kids in grades kindergarten to sixth may register now for games, puzzlers and stories on June 27 from 2 to 3 p.m.

Cliff-hanger club

for ages 9-12

Join a book club for ages 9 to 12 that meets June 28, July 12, 19 and 26. Snacks provided. Register by calling the children's department.

Friday flicks

On June 29 at 10 a.m., make plans to see "Harriet the Spy" (PG) starring Michelle Trachtenberg, Vanessa Lee Chester, Gregory Smith, Eartha Kitt, J. Smith-Cameron, Robert Joy and Rosie O'Donnell. Eleven-year-old Harriet keeps notes on her classmates and neighbors in a secret notebook, but when some of the students read the notebook, they seek revenge.

Harry Potter Magic Workshop

Kids of all ages will enjoy this Harry Potter Magic Workshop presented by Tom Phoolery on July 10 at 2 p.m. Register now for this free program.

No registration is required for summer story times.

Get a clue with Mother Goose for 3 to 5s: Enjoy this special story time for 3, 4 and 5 year olds accompanied by a caregiver on Thursdays at 10 a.m.

Rock-a-bye tales: Babies and toddlers ages 6 to 23 months along with a caregiver are invited to share this story time together on Tuesdays at 9:30 a.m.

Tales for 2s: Join us for a special story time for 2 year olds accompanied by a caregiver on Tuesdays at 10:15 a.m.

Family story time: Children and their parents are invited to attend this weekly evening story times on Tuesdays at 6:30.
