Third-graders at Holy Family School recently stepped back to Biblical time during a special retreat on the Old Testament. The intent of the event, which took place in the parish's Lower Church Hall, was to familiarize the students with four famous Old Testament stories.Assembled into small groups, the children visited four stations where they heard a story from the Old Testament and made a craft related to the narrative. The stories included "Ruth Trusts God," "David and Goliath," "Joseph's Coat of Many Colors," and "Baby Moses found in the Nile." Each station was led by a group of parent volunteers.
