Neighborhood Watch meetings set in Stow

There will not be a Stow Police Department Neighborhood Watch meeting in June or July. Neighborhood Watch meetings take place on the third Tuesday of the month at 6 p.m. in the community room of the Stow Safety Center, located at 3800 Darrow Road.

The next Neighborhood Watch event will be National Night Out, scheduled for Aug. 7. For additional information, call Stow officers Barry Smith or Joe Hepler at 330-689-5795.

Stow Police no longer offering fingerprinting

The Stow Police Department is no longer offering fingerprinting services for background checks.

The Ohio Bureau of Criminal Identification and Investigation will not accept ink fingerprint cards for background checks. Several locations in Summit County offer electronically scanned fingerprinting that is acceptable to the bureau.
