Rehearsals for the Heart of Ohio women's a cappella show chorus take place Mondays at 7:30 p.m. at the Twin Falls United Methodist Church.
The barbershop chorus, which is led by master director David Wallace, is looking for women of all ages in the greater Akron area who want to have fun singing and performing in a four-part harmony a cappella chorus.
Women in the community are invited to drop in at a rehearsal any Monday at 7:30 p.m. at the Twin Falls United Methodist Church, 60 N. River Road in Munroe Falls.

The New Hope Center for Support and Recovery offers a divorce recovery group Tuesdays from 7:15 to 8:45 p.m.

The Stow Blanketeers meet on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month, excluding July.
The 30 or so ladies who make up the Stow Blanketeers is in need of community support. The group is asking for donated yarn or cash donations.
The Stow Blanketeers knitted and crocheted a total of 125 blankets during the 2006 year, which were donated to local shelters.

Stow-Munroe Falls Kiwanis Club
The Stow-Munroe Falls Kiwanis Club will present the last in a series of Fifth Wednesday Membership Meetings May 30 at 6 p.m. at the Heritage Barn in Silver Springs Park
The meeting will begin with a full-course spaghetti dinner cooked and served by Kiwanis members. There is no charge for this dinner or the following program.
After the meal, members of the club will give a brief history of Kiwanis International, discuss projects and introduce some of the Kiwanis Club-sponsored youth and their advisers, who promote good citizenship and leadership in the schools.
The evening will conclude with a slide presentation taken by Thane and Faith Cook during a trip to India.

The Stow-Munroe Falls Lions Club meets on the second and fourth Tuesday each month at 6:30 p.m. at On Tap Restaurant, 4396 Kent Road in Stow.

The Stow-Munroe Falls Newcomers Club is open to new and established women of the community, as well as those residing in surrounding neighborhoods.
