Tallmadge High School seniors Kelly Glisson and Nathan Kreis were named Chrysler Youth Award winners for 2007.Kelly is the senior class co-historian, Academic Challenge team captain, Young Republican Club president and a member of the National Honor Society, French Club, Pep Club, Community Action Network, Relay For Life and her church youth leadership team. She enjoys reading, playing the piano and spending time with friends. Kelly has twice toured with the Young Continentals and participated in a mission trip to Brooklyn, NY. She plans to attend Grove City College, Geneva College or Malone College to major in history and secondary education. She plans to teach and eventually enter the political arena.Nathan is involved in the National Honor Society, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Leaders in Action, Blue Devils varsity basketball team and his church youth group. During the 2006 Relay For Life in Tallmadge, Nathan served as a team captain and entertainment coordinator. Nathan also served as sophomore class president and junior class secretary. Through his church youth group, he has participated in a number of mission trips, both stateside and abroad. In the future, Nathan plans to attend Abilene Christian University or Harding University to study business and global studies.
