Stow -- Police arrested a 57-year-old Kent man and charged him with theft and criminal trespassing following an incident in a Kent Road grocery store.A business employee told police he observed the man attempting to leave the store without paying for $269.79 worth of food. Man, woman arrested: A 40-year-old Akron man and a 31-year-old Akron woman were arrested and charged with theft after a Kent Road department store employee told police he saw the man and woman attempting to leave the store without paying for $174.98 worth of shoes at 8:32 p.m.The man and woman are scheduled to appear in Cuyahoga Falls Municipal Court.May 9. Wallet stolen: A Ritchie Road woman told police someone stole her wallet from her shopping cart after she left the cart in a Hudson Drive business between noon and 2 p.m.After the woman returned to the business for her wallet, she noticed it had been taken from the cart. The wallet and its contents -- $2 in cash, a driver's license and a check book -- were valued at a total of $34, the report states.May 14. Wireless cards taken from school: A Stow-Munroe Falls High School teacher told police someone entered her classroom between April 23 and May 14 and stole five wireless Internet service cards. The total value of the cards was $250, according to the report.May 8. iPod taken: A 19-year-old Macedonia male told police someone entered his vehicle while it was parked in a Darrow Road car impound lot between May 6 at 4:30 p.m. and May 7 at 2 p.m. and stole his iPod. The value of the iPod was $350, according to the report.Misuse of a credit cardMay 14. Man reports incident: A Hunter's Crossing man told police someone has been using his debit card to make unauthorized purchases on the Internet since May 11.According to the report, the purchases totaling $1,847.63 have occurred since the man returned from a trip to Mexico.Police reported the man's bank is investigating the incident.Possession of marijuanaMay 11. Suspected marijuana found: Police arrested a 21-year-old Kent man and charged him with possession of marijuana following an unspecified traffic stop on Graham road at 2:21 a.m.During the investigation, police reported finding suspected marijuana in the vehicle.
