SUGARCREEK — If you’ve never been inside the new Ohio Star Theater, you’ll have an opportunity on Friday, May 11, when Ohio Star Theater celebrates the beginning of season two in its new theater with an anniversary open house from 2 to 8 p.m.

"This is a great opportunity to come see the theater, enjoy some light refreshments, and take advantage of their anniversary BOGO ONO special on tickets for their 2018 musicals," said Vicki VanNatta, marketing manager for Dutchman Hospitality Group. BOGO ONO translates to Buy One, Get One for One Night Only.

"Attend the open house event between 2 and 8 p.m. and you will be eligible to purchase two tickets for the price of one ticket, a $42 savings," VanNatta continued. "But you’ll save even more if you purchase tickets for your entire family because it’s BOGO on every ticket you purchase."

The special is available only at the theater and only during the hours of 2 and 8 p.m. on Friday, May 11. From 4 to 7 p.m. during the May 11 open house, every 30 minutes, the cast of "The Home Game" will perform for 10 minutes, giving everyone a sneak peek at what they can expect when attending a musical production at Ohio Star Theater. "You’ll be amazed at the professional talent, the theater’s acoustics and the lively stories being told on stage," VanNatta said. "Ohio Star Theater is a wonderful addition to the area."
