TWINSBURG -- Salem, Ohio, transplants Linda and Bill Angus have been cultivating lush perennial beds since their move in 2015. Their home on Frederick Lane has robust peony bushes, spiderwort, hydrangeas, ferns, and delphiniums with a scattering of birdhouses and metal garden art for interest.

Linda loves cardinals and she has acquired several of her cardinal pieces from family and friends. The cardinal red adds a nice punch of color in the shady portions of the yard. For a late summer burst of color, begonias and gromphrena take center stage with bright purple and pink blooms to welcome visitors.

If you or someone you know has an exceptional garden, please email your nomination to Kristen Beason at There are two spots remaining for this year's chance to be a "Featured Garden." All nominations must include the homeowner's name, address, contact phone or email. To learn more about the Featured Garden program and other Twinsburg Garden Club events, visit
