"The Perfect Game," the PG-movie of an incredible, true story of a group of boys from Mexico, who overcame poverty and prejudice to make it to the 1957 Little League World Series, will be presented on the big screen at Community Vineyard Church (home of the former Loew's movie theater) on Saturday, June 10, at 6 p.m. The family movie is perfect for Father's Day.

The unlikely little league team arose with no baseball experience, equipment or leadership. The inspirational film depicts the determination, drive and commitment of the Mexican team despite prejudice and hardship. The team's success is highlighted by Mexican pitcher Angel Macias who threw the first and only perfect game in Little League championship game history.

The movie is part of the church's "Movies with a Message," which takes place on the second Saturday of every month. The movie, snacks and drinks are free and there are prizes following the movie.
