Northampton United Methodist Church

The church's fitness classes continue through the spring. Fit NOW, a walking group, meets at the church on Mondays at 6:30 p.m. and utilizes the gym and hallways to get in the steps for the day. Yoga takes place on Wednesdays at 11:30 a.m. and 7 p.m. All are welcome to attend these classes. Contact the church office for more information on either of these groups.

Pastor Keith McLaughlin invites the community to join in worship on Sundays at 8:30 a.m. (traditional), 9:45 a.m. and 11:10 a.m. (contemporary). PilgrimUnited Church of Christ

Pilgrim United Church of Christ, located at 130 Broad Blvd., invites community members to join the congregation each Sunday for Worship Service at 10:30 a.m. in the sanctuary. First United Methodist Church

Bethany United Church of Christ welcomes all, wherever they may be in their faith journey.

Sunday Faith Formation classes begin at 9:15 for the Senior High students and 9:30 for others. Grades 1-7 gather at 9:30 in the music room, then go to Chapel Time at 9:50. After attending the beginning of the worship service and the children's message, Grades 1-4 participate in a Rotation Class which will focus on the meaning of Lent while Grades 5-7 study the lectionary scripture for the day at their own level. From 9:30 to 11:30 Nursery is available as well as classes for 2 and 3 year olds and for preK/Kindergarten children filled with games, song, crafts, and beginning faith formation experiences.

Grades 1-4 Faith Formation Class will be making "Care Bags" for the church's Family Promise families during class time on April 30. They are accepting donations of socks and underwear for all ages as well as toiletry items such as shampoo, deodorant, Q-tips, hair brushes, razors, bar soap, body wash, etc.

Camp Bethany-New Trinity will take place from July 9-13.

The Seventh Annual Bethany UCC Plant Sale will take place in the parking lot on the corner of 13th Street and Broad Boulevard on May 20 from 9 to noon.

First Christian Church

First Christian Church, located on the corner of Second Street and Stow Avenue, invites all to come and explore faith in Sunday School, small groups, or worship.

The Altar & Rosary Society will be collecting paper products and personal products for Good Neighbors during the month of May. Collection boxes will be at all the doors of the church.

Queen of Angels Religious Treasures store, located in Nolan Hall in the basement of St. Joseph Church, corner of Second Street and Sackett Avenue in Cuyahoga Falls, has a wide selection of devotionals for attendees to choose from. The church has several "Way of the Cross" by different authors that will refresh the way one experiences the passion of Our Lord. Hours are Sundays, 9 a.m.-1 p.m. During First Communion season the church will be offering extended hours on Tuesdays from 5:30-7:30 p.m. through May 16.

Northminster Presbyterian Church

Northminster Presbyterian Church, 104 W. Portage Trail Extension, worships at 10:30 a.m. each Sunday with the Rev. Stephanie Crossland. Rev. Crossland will conclude the month by speaking on "Resurrection Is for the Brokenhearted" on April 30, with readings from Luke and Peter.

The Children's Sunday School classes meet during the worship service following "A Moment with God's Children." Children from kindergarten through sixth grade can join the classes at any time, for stories, games, music and fun. A nursery room is available for those children under the age of 5.

The last All You Can Eat Spaghetti Dinner, until Fall, will take place May 12 from 4:30-6:30 p.m. Dinner includes spaghetti with Alfredo, marinara or chunky meat sauce, salad, bread, dessert and beverage. A bake sale will also be held.

The Book Club will meet on May 15 at 1:15 p.m. to discuss their current book, "The Wright Brothers" by David McCullough, which follows the story of Wilbur and Orville Wright as they pursue their dream of flight, and ultimately, change the course of history. Join the club for their fascinating discussion, with an "Ohio connection."

The Craft Guild meets on the third Wednesday and Saturday of the month, at 10 a.m. May's meetings will be on May 17 and May 20. Bring a current project, or come and learn a new one.
