Baptist egg hunt

First Baptist Church of Aurora’s annual Easter eggstravaganza will be April 8 at 10 a.m. It is free. Candy donations are needed to fill 1,200 eggs. Candy can be placed in the box in the foyer near the main entrance.
An all-church luncheon will be March 19 after the worship service. It will have an Irish theme. Volunteers are needed to bring dishes to share and provide setup and cleanup help.
Club 306 will visit Skyview Ranch during the second week of summer June 19-24. Pastor Drew Carroll will lead chapel for all junior high campers that week. Visit for more information or grab a brochure in the foyer.

Moms will gather
The Moms Together group at Christ Community Chapel-Aurora will meet March 16 at 9:15 a.m. to hear KimDavis, a personal trainer and nutritionist, talk about living a healthy lifestyle physically and spiritually Child care is provided.
A meeting for those wanting to be baptized will be March 19 at 10:45 a.m. Baptisms will take place on April 9.
Men of the church can play whirlyball March 23 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Whirlyball Cleveland, 5055 Richmond Road in Bedford Heights. The group will enjoy wings afterward. Whirlyball fee is $10.
Other coming events are: April 4 — women’s night out (paint and chocolate) from 7 to 9 p.m.; April 5 — Connect groups kickoff from 6:30 to 8 p.m.; April 7 — Superstart conference; and April 8 — Eggstravaganza from 10 a.m. to noon.

HS youths gather
Every Sunday, except the fourth when there is family worship, high school youths at Lord of Life Lutheran Church in Bainbridge gather for a time of fellowship and worship. At Bread of Life, youths cook a meal that they eat during their worship experience.
High schoolers converse over topics such as; “who does God say that I am,” “what are my temptations and how can I defend against them” and “how do I let my light shine in a dark world.”

Dine on pancakes
The senior fellowship at Aurora Mennonite Church will gather after church March 19 at Shalersville Township Hall for Goodell’s pancakes and maple syrup.
Other coming events are: Tonight (March 15) — youth group at 6:30 p.m., and pastoral search committee question and answer session at 7; March 17-18 — LMC celebration of church life; March 19 — ballot vote to affirm the calling of David Martino as our pastor.
In the long run, a barbecue chicken community dinner will be May 5, a women’s tea will be May 13 and the annual missions auction will be June 10.

Lent at Our Lady
Soup suppers are Wednesdays during Lent at 6:15 p.m. and Stations of the Cross are Wednesdays at 6 p.m. and Fridays at noon and 7 p.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church.

Parents night set
The third annual parents night out will be March 19 at the Church in Aurora. Parents can bring potty trained youngsters through fourth-graders to the church from 4 to 7 p.m. and then enjoy some free time to themselves. For details, contact Liz Sutter.
The workcampers’ spaghetti dinner and silent auction will be May 7 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Aurora High. Tickets will be available after Easter.
