The wedding of Victoria Cockrill and Jeremy Gattozzi took place Aug. 20 at Firestone Country Club in Akron. The Rev. Martha Cash-Burless officiated.
Their parents are Fred and Joan Cockrill of Alliance and Jerry and Sandy Gattozzi of Aurora.
The shabby chic-themed wedding used mint and gold as the colors. The bride was escorted by her father and the bridegroom was escorted by his mother.
Melanie Ulbricht of Wooster, sister of the bride, was the matron of honor, and Ava Ulbricht of Wooster, niece of the bride, was flower girl.
Bridesmaids were Anaelle Nicolay Kritter of France and Brittany Cathey of Alliance, both friends of the bride, and Krysta Gattozzi, sister of the bridegroom.
Nick Akers of Kent, a friend of the bridegroom, was best man, while Landon Ulbricht of Wooster, nephew of the bride,was ringbearer.
Groomsmen were Seth Baumberger of Concord and Albert Radis of Highland Heights, both cousins of the bridegroom; Andy Ulbricht of Wooster, brother-in-law of the bride; and Patrick Einloth of Broadview Heights and Alan Snyder of North Royalton, both friends of the bridegroom.
A reception took place at Firestone Country Club, and the couple honeymooned in Puerto Vallaria, Mexico.
Mrs. Gattozzi is a 2010 graduate of Marlington High School and a 2014 graduate of the University of Mount Union in Alliance. She works for Sherwin Williams in Parma.
Her husband graduated from Aurora High School in 2006 and Kent State University in 2010, and earned a master's degree from Case Western Reserve in 2014.
The couple is residing in Aurora.
