Discussions at the Inn

Beer halls and bars are filling up across the country with people discussing who God is and what God is doing in our midst.

The trending Pub Theology invites people who might not ordinarily feel comfortable in a church setting to participate in discussions about faith around a cold brew or wine, or tea if that's your preference.

Lord of Life Lutheran Church on Route 306 in Bainbridge has caught onto this trend with monthly discussions on the third Wednesday of each month.

In the Cutting Board restaurant at the Aurora Inn, a small group gathers around adult beverages and intriguing topics, such as sin, the Trinity, forgiveness, evil, and guilt.

The group has a wide range of participants -- from 20 somethings to retired folks -- sharing wisdom and experience with one another.

It meets at 7:45 p.m., with discussions beginning at 8. For details, contact the church office at 440-543-5505 or
