Sunday worship with Pastor Jim Case begins at 10:30 a.m. Nursery care is provided for children through age 4. Children's Sunday School takes place during worship. Adult Bible Study meets at 9 a.m. on Sunday morning in the parlor.

Women's Bible Study meets Tuesday evenings from 7 to 9 p.m. The group is currently studying Gideon from the Book of Judges. The class is open to women from all area churches.

Because of Good Friday, in April only, the Spaghetti Dinner will be on the fourth Friday, April 25, from 4 to 7 p.m.

The Annual Easter Egg Hunt will take place April 12 promptly at 11 a.m. for children from toddlers through age 12.

Faith Fellowship Baptist

Bible Study is on Sunday mornings at 9:30 a.m. and is followed by the worship service at 10:30 a.m. Visitors are welcome.

The church will host a Chicken & Biscuits Dinner on March 29 from 4 to 7 p.m. Dinner will include a salad bar, chicken and biscuits, vegetable, dessert and drink for $7.

Church of New Hope

Church of New Hope invites all to worship and share Christ's love each Sunday morning at 10 a.m.

The Church of New Hope announces the Rev. Dr. Joel Soza will be formally installed as the lead pastor during the 10 a.m. worship service on March 30.

The Rev. Jim Palmer from the Ohio Minstry Network Office will officiate the service.

Rev. Soza is an ordained Assemblies of God minister. He has served as chaplain in the U.S. Navy and pastored two other churches in Ohio.

He also serves as a professor of Old Testament studies at Malone University. He is the author of "Food and God: A Theological Approach to Eating, Diet and Weight Control." He has contributed commentary notes for the Wesley Study Bible and is published in the Ashland Theological Journal and Dictionaries for Inter-Varsity Press.

He and his wife, Dalia, have been married for 24 years and have a son, Joseph, 20, and a daughter, Shari, 13.

Following the installation service, there will be a fellowship luncheon in the church gymnasium.

There is something for everyone on Wednesdays from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Church of New Hope. Adults can join in the Adult Bible class studying the New Testament with Professor David Sloan while youth can meet with Jeremiah Isley to grow spiritually and personally. Children who are sixth grade and younger will participate in AWANA with Elizabeth Kargbo and her group of volunteers.

St. Stephen

Lutheran Church

Sunday morning services are at 8:30 and 11 a.m. Sunday School, for all school-age children, is from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. Adult Bible studies are on Sundays from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m.

The mid-week services theme during Lent will be "Overheard Conversations by the Cross." Conversations will be at 7 p.m.

The congregation will be collecting items for Baskets of Promise during the Lenten season. Personal care kits will be sent to the most disaster prone countries in the world. All kits are to be collected Palm Sunday. The goal is 200 kits to be sent to Lutheran World Relief.

2015 ELCA Youth Gathering information meeting is on April 6 at noon. All youth grade 8-11 and their parents are encouraged to attend.

Senior High Youth Group meets every Wednesday at 7 p.m.

Leadership Training classes will be on the third Tuesday of every month. This class is for anyone who may find themselves in a leadership position. It might be corporate, team sports, a non-profit, a club, etc.

Morning women's Bible study is on Thursdays at 10 a.m.

Monthly (evening) adult group studies meet the first Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. The men's group is studying the John Eldredge DVD series "Wild at Heart." The women's group is studying Jennifer Rothschild's "Me, Myself and Lies."

J.O.Y. Group meets for breakfast at 9 a.m. on the second Monday of each month at the Stow Caf. Come on by for food and fellowship.

Holy Family Catholic Church

Teens are invited to enrich their knowledge and understanding of the Catholic faith by traveling around the world with Fr. Robert Barron on a pilgrimage from 11 a.m. to noon in Room 3 of the lower church hall (LCH) on March 30. Contact for more information.

During this Lenten season, an additional weekly Mass will be offered every Thursday at 7 p.m. through April 17.

The Stow-Hudson Knights of Columbus will serve Fish Fry Dinners every Friday during Lent from 4:30 to 7 p.m. in the LCH through April 11. Dinner cost is $8 for adults, $4 for kids 12 and under. Dinner includes entre, two sides, roll with butter, coffee or punch. Additional sides are $1-$2. Entre choices include baked tilapia, fried beer-battered cod, jumbo shrimp, macaroni and cheese, or cheese pizza.

Stations of the Cross will take place every Friday during Lent at 7 p.m. in the church through April 11.

A 5 p.m. Mass will be offered April 13. It will feature contemporary praise and worship music. Although an outreach to the youth, all are welcome to attend.

Evangelical Lutheran

Worship is at 10 a.m. on Sunday mornings and adult and children's Sunday School meet at 9 a.m. A fellowship time follows the worship service.

The church will have Lenten services on Wednesdays at 7 p.m., along with a soup supper beginning at 6:15 p.m. All are welcome.

A Lenten Study called "Transformation" by Rick Warren will be offered on Tuesdays at 5:30 p.m. with a light meal and on Sundays at 9 a.m. The Sunday study will be for all ages. In the series, which will also be covered in the sermons, attendees learn how God wants to transform spiritual, mental, physical, vocational, financial and relational lives to bring health and wholeness.

United Methodist Church in Stow

The Lenten sermon series, "What Does the Lord Require of You? The Necessities of Faith Challenge" will challenge the listeners to understand and engage in following the biblical requirements of faith. Rejoice! Lutheran Church

On Wednesdays through April 9 at 7 p.m., Rejoice! will host a Taiz-style, mid-week,worship service.

What is "Taiz worship? It focuses on prayer, meditation, repetitive song and periods of silence during a worship service. The service will include Holy Communion and will last about 30 minutes.
