For families looking to add a four-legged family member, the Falls Furry Friends Adoptathon on Saturday, June 24 outside of city hall may be the perfect  opportunity.
Scheduled from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. in the south parking lot outside of the Cuyahoga Falls utility billing  department, the event will feature the Humane Society of Summit County’s Mobile Adoption Unit, where animals such as cats and dogs will be available to meet guests and potentially find a permanent home.

The afternoon will also feature giveaways, pet safety decals, Envelopes of Life for emergency preparedness, pet bandanas, dog treats, animal safety education and much more. Guests are invited to bring their pets.
“There are so many wonderful animals who are looking for a forever home, and this event is a  great opportunity for anyone who is considering adopting a new family member to meet some  adoptable animals, ask questions and learn  about pet ownership from the people who care for the animals every day,” said Kathy Romito, Community Relations Manager for Western Reserve Hospital.

The Falls Furry Friends Adoptathon represents a partnership between the Humane Society of Summit County, the City of Cuyahoga Falls and Western Reserve hospital.
