The Hudson Society of Artists is hosting its spring art show at the Laurel Lake Retirement Community, 200 Laurel Lake Road in Hudson. The exhibit is free and open to the public from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. seven days a week. The show will run from March 4 through April 1.

The Hudson Society of Artists' members include professional artists as well as giving developing members an opportunity to exhibit. Susan Mencini will select the awards this year. She is a graduate of the Cooper School of Art and studied at Kent State University. Working in acrylics with a watercolor application, she exhibits and teaches in the area.

A reception and awards ceremony will take place on March 12 from 2 5 p.m. at the Laural Lake Retirement Community. The reception is open to the public and will present an opportunity to meet some of the artists.
