Canton, OH – A special private tour of the Canton Potters Guild Studio will be featured at the Canton Museum of Art on Saturday, March 11, 2017 at 2:30 pm.

Sponsored by Canton Fine Arts Associates, "A Tour-- The Canton Potters Guild Studio" will be presented by artist, Bill Shearrow, who will describe how handcrafted pottery is made.

The event also includes refreshments.

The Canton Potters Guild was founded in 1974 by a group of dedicated potters committed to the advancement of the museum's ceramic program. The group participates in several events each year including Christkindl Markt, the May sale and "Empty Bowls for Hunger" with proceeds benefiting the Stark County Hunger Task Force.

This March 11 program is open to the public and reservations are required.  The cost of the program and refreshments is $ 7 per person. The deadline for reservations is March 9th by noon and can be made by calling Suzie Thomas or Becky DeHart, 330-453-7666.
