Akron, Ohio — The Akron Youth Orchestras will present a Winter Concert on Jan. 29 at 3 p.m. at Tallmadge High School.

The concert will feature the Akron Youth Philharmonic, under the direction of Douglas A. Bayda, and the Akron Youth Symphony, under the direction of Eric Benjamin.
The philharmonic will perform Mozart’s Symphony No. 25, Bach’s Sleepers Awake from Cantata No. 140, Holst’s Brook Green Suite, and Engines of Resistance by Larry Clark.
The symphony will perform Resanovic’s Sarabande, Schubert’s Rosamunde, and Berlioz’ Hungarian March from The Damnation of Faust.
Tickets, which are required for the performance, are $10; children ages 10 and under are free. Seating is general admission. Tickets may be purchased through the Akron Symphony box office by calling 330.535.8131.
Tallmadge High School is located at 140 North Monroe Road in Tallmadge.
