Science is about to get spooky along the shores of Lake Eerie when Great Lakes Science Center presents Spooktacular Science Oct. 22 and Oct. 23.
Guests of all ages are sure to enjoy this family friendly Halloween-themed party. All activities are included with general admission (with the exception of the dissection workshop), and costumes are encouraged. Activities are scheduled between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Saturday and noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday.

Mad Science Lab -- Pass through the "chamber of chill" as you make your way to the mad science lab! The Science Center's mad scientist will be experimenting with chemistry, physics, electricity and fire in this wacky and wild experience.
Zombie Operation Challenge -- Test your skills as a zombie doctor and "operate" on our larger-than-life zombie. Keep your hands steady - one wrong move and you'll wake the zombie!
Electric Pickle Cart --Learn about circuits and electricity as we attempt to electrocute a pickle.
Fake Wounds Cart -- Does your costume need a little extra "scare"? We're combining common ingredients to create the perfect paint to add a fake wound to your arm!
Pumpkin Launching -- Design and build a lever or catapult to launch small objects toward a target. Which design launches the objects farther? Can your machine handle larger items?
Sheep Brain Dissection Workshop -- Why does fear make your palms sweat or your heart race? Get hands-on as you examine the organ responsible for our life-saving fight or flight response - the brain.
