The Akron Zoo's annual Boo at the Zoo kicks off Oct. 15 and will run October 15, 16, 22, 23, and 29 and 30. Hours are 11:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.

The event includes 12 themed treat stations kids can trick-or-treat at, including a new treat station. This safe and non-scary event allows visitors to enjoy festive decorations and light displays throughout the zoo, while visiting the animals. The zoo is only open for Boo at the Zoo on the days of the event.

Favorite themed trick-or-treating stations returning include the witches, construction, enchanted forest, trains and more. New this year is a holiday themed station, highlighting the zoo bringing back their holiday lighting event, Wild Lights, for the holidays. Visitors will be able to enjoy all the zoo's animals and experiences like the carousel, train and more.

Pre-sale tickets are now on sale at the Akron Zoo and all Acme Fresh Market locations in Northeast Ohio for a discounted rate.
