The Salvation Army of Summit County presents its New York Staff Band Oct. 14 at 7 p.m., at the Akron-Summit County Public Library Auditorium, 60 S. High Street, Akron.

The performances of this 30-piece all-amateur ensemble, recently back from a tour of Cuba, have earned a reputation as one of the world's best brass bands. The Salvation Army is privileged to have Akron as a stop on their current U.S. Tour.

Free parking is provided in the attached City deck, 40 S. High Street for this event. Doors will open to the general public at 6:30 p.m.

The performance is free of charge with no assigned seating, but guests must have a ticket to enter.
