Art and dance will intersect when Neos Dance Theatre performs "Symbiosis" in the galleries and auditorium of the Akron Art Museum Nov. 12, starting at 7 p.m. Doors will open at 6 p.m.

Inspired by Intersections: Artists Master Line and Space, the museum's newest exhibition, "Symbiosis" is a three-part premiere of choreography informed by the artists' processes and studio environments as well as the music that inspired them. The performance is supported in part by the Ohio Arts Council and the National Endowment for the Arts.

Open through Jan. 15, Intersections explores connections between sculptures and works on paper by artists Mark Fox, Anne Lindberg, Nathalie Miebach, John Newman, Judy Pfaff and Ursula von Rydingsvard, who all create compositions using non-traditional materials and processes.
