Enjoy Ohio-produced arts, crafts and foods at the seventh annual Made in Ohio Arts and Crafts Festival at Hale Farm & Village Sept. 3 and 4 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
This yearly celebration of the arts features more than 140 vendors from all over the state. Vendors include jewelry artists, potters, carvers, glass artists, soap and lotion makers, quilters, and a variety of unique fine craft artists. An assortment of local food vendors will be available during the day, along with Ohio beer and wine. In addition to the art exhibitions and vendors, there will be musical entertainment.
Renee Flynn, event founder and coordinator started the event to celebrate all things Ohio. "Ohio is home to some amazing artists, and Hale Farm & Village is a great venue to highlight them. In addition to supporting local arts, our guests can view period crafts demonstrations such as glass blowing, weaving and blacksmithing."
Costumed educators will be demonstrating period arts and crafts or guests can tour the historic structures and take in the beauty of the surrounding Cuyahoga Valley National Park.
