Brecksville, Ohio – On Wednesday, July 9, the dynamic Irish group Pitch the Peat plays at Music in the Meadow. Spanning many genres, the band delights in exploring the common threads in its vast repertoire, from traditional Irish tunes to contemporary music.

Grab a blanket and a picnic dinner and bring the family to this free concert series at Howe Meadow. The festivities begin at 5:30 p.m. with family activities. Concerts begin at 6:30 p.m. The concert series is presented by Cuyahoga Valley National Park (CVNP) and the Conservancy for Cuyahoga Valley National Park, with support from Audio-Technica, the Lloyd L. & Louise K. Smith Memorial Foundation, Woodsy’s Music, the Gay Community Endowment Fund of Akron Community Foundation, and the National Park Foundation. Alcohol is prohibited. Donations to support this series will be accepted at each event.
