This year's winners of the Children's Concert Society Scholastic Composer's Contest, which include students from Hudson, Kent and Stow schools, will present their first place winning piano compositions April 29 at 6 p.m. in the Auditorium of Kenmore High School in Akron. This is the 61st year of the Composer's Contest.

Winners include Elizabeth Siyu Chen, Isabelle Gurzenski and Patrick Custy from Evamere Elementary in Hudson; Margaret Ziyao Chen from Ellsworth Hills in Hudson; Kendyl Rae Rudlosky from Highland Elementary in Stow; Lillian DeMattia from Longcoy Elementary in Kent; Isaac Stokes from Stanton Middle School in Kent; and Sidney Raabe from Roosevelt High School in Kent.

Compositions were judged by professors from The University of Akron Music Department.
